Building for Tomorrow on a
Foundation of Trust

June 5, 2020

Dear Customer,

We are all having to adapt to rapidly evolving economic, social and technological conditions, and proving ourselves to be more resilient than we ever thought possible.  In dealing with disruptions, we believe that truly resilient people and organizations are the ones that not only recover what once was, but catapult forward quickly. We are eager to move forward and excited about the next steps for our customers and our communities.

Framework for the Future
It’s time to help our customers and communities build the framework for the future.  We are making it easier for you to do your banking in the safe and secure channels of your choice.  Among other recent changes, you have probably noticed the improvements we’ve been making to the design and navigation of our website (www.bankbac.com).  It is easier than ever to open new accounts online and easier to locate information, services and products.  In the meantime, keep an eye out for communication about our products and services as well as tips and tools on accessing and managing your money.  As always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions for any enhancements you’d like to see.  Please be sure to give us your thoughts via the short survey some of you might have received when logging out of Online Banking.

Another Safe and Secure way to Bank with BAC
As you know, paying with cash can be inconvenient during these times which is why we wanted to remind you that our BAC Community Bank Visa® credit cards are fully enabled with mobile payment capability.  Mobile Payments, including Apple Pay™, Google Pay™ and Samsung Pay™, are touchless, safe and secure.  What’s more, your card number is not stored on your device. Instead, a unique account number and security code are assigned, making it more difficult for fraudsters to steal your card information or make unauthorized purchases.

For Our Business Customers
For those of you who obtained a PPP loan, you should have received the loan "Forgiveness Application" along with guidance and tools to help you complete your application. Please look for this information in your ShareFile. Know that you will have plenty of time to prepare your documentation and submit the request, as the window of opportunity is much longer than it was during the PPP application phase.  Be sure to refer to the SBA website for updates on loan forgiveness requirements and begin to organize your documentation to substantiate your qualified expenses.

Back to Business as Usual
As you know, being ready to adapt in this economy has proven crucial.  While we may never get back to our old normal, here at BAC we are open for business and ready to assist you with all of your banking needs. It would be a privilege to help you manage, protect and grow your assets, and to stand in partnership with you as we deepen our resiliency and thrive together in the new era.  We look forward to hearing from you.

We do more than take your banking seriously – we take your success personally.

It is a privilege to serve you.
